YOU BE YOU (UBU) YOUTH PROGRAM

  • Goals:
  • Foster individual development and identity in a safe space
  • Create a support network of peers in a respectful and honoring environment
  • Provide a resource of “tribal elders” for connection, guidance, and mentorship
  • Make the world a better place through volunteer activities in the local community
  • Connect with other groups in the area for expanded reach and resources
  • Expose adolescents to the demonstration of UU principles in their daily lives
Open to any teen in the community, ages 14-18 (Grades 8-12)
-Teen driven, leadership skills fostered and encouraged
-Meetings held twice a month at the Gould home
